Not insensitive at all, curly hair does a number on everyone who has it, no matter what race they are, unless you only like curly hair 24/7, 365 days of the year.

I wouldn’t be surprised if some people did that. It’s such a vulnerable time in someone’s life. You don’t get much sympathy either because most people just don’t get it, they’ll say it’s just hair, cut it all off and your trouble will be over with.
I only go to the salon once in a blue moon but it’s always the same one.
It may be partly because you’re a man but, I never knew anyone, male or female, with eyebrows so thick that they just grew across into a unibrow, who said that they shaved or tweezed their brows and they never returned.
I know, but although the chemicals are very strong if they’re used properly and timed correctly, every single time, you wouldn’t experience any damage. For example, the late Olive Benson relaxed one of my aunt’s hair for over 25 years without any problems ever cropping up.
That’s true, some supposedly natural salon sneak relaxers into the styling process to get great results on the spot instead of learning about your hair. They know that by the time you realize what they’ve done dozens of strangers will have complimented you on your hair and been sent to their salon.
There’s no two ways about it, your curl pattern will be ruined, that’s what relaxers all do; break the bonds in your hair’s structure that enable it to curl. The trouble is that to do that they work so hard that they also remove body so not only do you lose your curls but leave you with limp hair and you now have to…
My black cousins were like yours until they trusted me to do their hair. They really should have gone to cosmetology classes during college just to save the thousands a year they spent on their hair. A lot of those styles were lovely but I wouldn’t want to spend that much time and money on hair.
If people with kinky hair want it straight and they want to be physically active too relaxers seem like the easiest solution, though, because they really cut down on styling time a lot.
If possible, look for someone to discuss this with now. That way you’ll have coping mechanisms in place by then.
Who, indeed.
Lately, usually when a movie tanks spectacularly like this, I can’t remember seeing any trailers or actors making the rounds on talk shows discussing it. If even the people involved don’t try to promote it, no wonder it fails.
While I agree that Mariah is petty as hell, I very much doubt she ever thinks about these people unless they’re brought up.
I don’t think it would be as quickly as you think. China was manufacturing and exporting trinkets for a long time (since the 19th century), having factories set up and grow, roads built, harbours equipped for tankers to dock etc, Mao’s detour was a blip in their history, so when the big boys like Walmart and its…
It would cause a recession in China and in the US too. The government didn’t lessen tariffs on Chinese imports out of the goodness of their hearts and to boost China’s economy.
That’s because Hitler did spend a lot of time glamming up his rhetoric, coordinating ceremonies, cloaking his behavior in mythology. Had his own producer/director Riefenstahl to create sleek presentations.
Sounds clever.
No wonder you aren’t sorry, that’s funny.
It’s your arms that are keeping it up and on you, so keep them a bit bent as though your coat was a shawl with sleeves.
I agree that they should fight, especially here (in Canada) where they’re the biggest minority in many areas. If they don’t, there will simply be no diversity at all in businesses and institutions and they won’t reflect what the community is or needs.
