I don't hate steam os, steam machines, and the steam controller. i just don't see the point. Windows runs all new pc exclusive games just fine. It also runs the complete legacy catalogue of windows games going back decades.

Most games are compressed to keep file sizes small. Also "installing" games on current consoles usually just puts the most used files on the hdd, not the full game. If oyu download the full game digitally it will be much larger and it looks like Guerilla games skipped compression in order to load game assets faster…
They're using the Source Engine. Its open source and very flexible. The fact that is was made for a fps is not important. The engine runs the physics, hit detection, multiplayer code, and other essential things
I think the main plot hole is how Appa, the last surviving male sky bison, managed to procreate and now there are packs of wild sky bison living in caves now.
Its bring your parent to school day and the kid brings in his dad who is addicted to GTA V. It is either saying his dad has started doing GTA like activities in real life or the kid thinks his Dad playing GTA is real.
I'm still hoping the United Kingdoms can come in and stop a civil war from starting. It just seems pointless.
Its a real spirit. I think he is assuming that Unalaq used the same waterbending technique that calmed the spirits down, in order to make them angry in the first place.

They're announcing the valve branded steam machine along with multiple third party stea machines friday. Half Life 3 does not exist

They should use google's voice recognition via the cloud. I am consistently amazed on the accuracy of Google Now and it only gets better as you use it and they upgrade the processing power and algorithms. Then universal voice control could be used with almost no hit to performance
And the Kin, and the Zune, and the XP tablets
It was a joke. He described the thought process behind the original kinect and implied the result will be no different for kinect 2.0
Did anyone really expect anything different? yes the lag has been reduced but the Kinect has been and will always will be a casually designed device. It may now have the power and precision for one to one movements but a casual player: kid, parent, older person may not have the ability to make those one to one…
