Sounds to me like you’re completely wrong. I use it daily for multitudes of things and it’s far from “stock” W10. I also don’t have problems on my work PC ever, my wife’s PC, my wife’s laptop or the mini ITX PC I use to run my 3D printer/Shapeoko 2 🤷‍♂️

The problem is then no one updates their machines. Then someone gets hacked cuz they didn’t get the security update. Then microsofts gets bad press about having a unsecure OS cuz people won’t do updates. If people would update responsibly this wouldn’t be an issue but since they don’t, so Microsoft has to force it on
