Cant speak for the others, but team viewer is fantastic. I set it up on my relative’s PCs so I don’t have to make housecalls when they invariably fuck something simple up anymore. The fact that I can use it on my iphone/ipad is a nice bonus as well.

Fun fact: the NASA Landing and Impact Research Facility shown in the video was originally built as a lunar landing simulator for the Apollo program. A mockup of the lander was suspended from it so the pilots could practice the final approach and landing. After Apollo it was re-purposed for crashing things. I worked on…

Is it part of the animation software that all the elements can be shown to ‘drop in’ like that with a click or do they have to take time to render it that way for the benefit of show reels? Everyone does it this way, and in fact the effect is so uniform across different studios that surely it must be a built-in…
