AOC has every right to point out that Yoho’s non apology is trash, the man is trash and his attitude is trash and his actions display out loud for everyone to see exactly what type of trash he is.  His I have a wife and daughters is cover for his actions is pathetic as he is.  He is a white man who is afraid of

Black women are fearless. We are America’s conscious and every white person’s, worse nightmare, regardless of age, when they make the mistake of disrespecting us.

These women are calling it like they see it, and they’re calling it right. An unafraid woman is an old white persons nightmare.

Really well done thank you. I just had a severe bipolar episode (my diagnosis now Bipolar 1 instead of 2) in April that was probably triggered in part by predisposition (previous hypomania) and the COVID pandemic. Came close to losing everything as I spiraled and angered and drank and became disorganized to the point

I wish I had a more eloquent, reserved, or intellectual response to this. Alas.

YAAAAAAASSSSSSSSSSS fuck that fucking non-apology and the misogynist brain whence it came.

“I have a wife and some kids who are girls” needs to die the same death that “I have a black friend” did.

It’s so fucking satisfying to hear her calling out the hypocrisy and non-evidential citing of wives and daughters in these kinds of statements.

As others have said, mental health treatment in America is only for the middle class. If you’re poor, you can’t afford it. If you’re rich, you can reshape reality enough to avoid ever feeling like you need treatment. That seems to be what Kanye’s doing. Might explain some of his affinity for Trump, they’re kindred

Bipolar Type II is more defined by depression and the mania is (sometimes) less extreme, usually a type of hypomania. Bipolar Type I is more defined by mania with some depressive episodes. They both can be quite difficult at times to manage without the right coping skills, therapies and/or medication.

Thank you so much!

This was extremely enlightening. I have two nieces (sisters) who both are bi-polar. When the older one started experiencing the symptoms she was in university. She began to ‘act out’ in inexplicable ways. A diagnosis was a long time coming for her but eventually she received the help she needed. The younger sister was

I really love your writing.

After his mom died it was clear to me something in him changed. I didn’t know what, but the way he acted and talked seemed much less sober and grounded. I did stop buying his albums and paying attention, I couldn’t anymore, it was depressing. I didn’t know what was going on, I thought maybe it was trauma from his mom

Mister West is incapable of being honest with himself and he will not change until the pain needed to change overcomes the pain of remaining the same.

Bi-polar is a perfect excuse to never be accountable for anything, ever.  In my own experience, learning everything I could about it, and ultimately choosing to not use the label as a crutch or excuse for me failing to acknowledge, prepare and deal with in a proper way, how my brain functions differently.  How

That picture makes me sad and mad and hurt for her.

Why isn’t she the victim, because she didn’t immediately shut up and apologize? Does a victim have to be perfectly 100% innocent to get empathy or does everyone have to bend the knee to bigger, meaner bullies with more assets?!

Hunh?! Arguments do go off on tangents but let’s go back to the escalation: This rando chick can’t make a general statement about a long-discussed trend without this middle-aged man, wealthier and more powerful man stalking her and her family, harnessing his followers to harrass her and retaliating like it’s his

He has a million followers and she’s got 20K. As I wrote above Meg and Cardi get way more shit and you don’t see them losing their gord over it. They don’t indulge “clout chasers,” IF that’s even what she was doing. She didn’t @ him. She retweeted a comment about colorism that thousands of Black people make about

I’m sure there’s an overlapping Venn Diagram of 90's/00's hotep/misogynist rappers.
