I think there is strong disconnect between the customers Cadillac is courting and the buying experience their dealers are providing.

Ha, yeah. I think the problem is reverse. Dealers’ problems are not Cadillac, Cadillac’s problems are dealers.
Not weird at all! That car is not a sign of doom for Cadillac, its another sign that Cadillac dealers are, in general, terrible. The only way that happens to a car is if the dealer screwed up tremendously.
I am not sure a bunch of 2014s with 7k miles going for 15k off MSRP is evidence of a huge problem at Cadillac. GM gives dealerships cash to have program vehicles, loaners for people with cars in for maintenance or warranty work. Smart dealers then use that cash to deeply discount the car, allowing them to advertise…
That is a fantastic story.
I want to bestow upon you a third degree black belt in sneaky vagina euphemisms.
I feel your pain. When my wife’s Saab 9-3 Sportcombi came up on the airbag recall list, I flipped out a bit. We like the car, it’s what my daughter road home from the hospital in 18 months ago, and it had good safety ratings circa 2006. But I can’t shake the “death by airbag” mental image. I quietly suggested we…
I wonder if the sliding doors still work. That could be handy.
Right? If we are comparing the M2 and the M235 Dinan, how bout some seat time in the M2. I get the impression he hasn't driven the M2.
That looks like a car that is using just about all its suspension travel, both compression and droop, at the same time. Very cool
This needs more stars.
RZR is 2wd as well. RWD plus rear/mid engine usually equal traction.
Are we watching the same video?
This car has a very different suspension setup than a F1 car. This has MacPherson struts, which means it has a terrible camber curve. As the car rolls and the suspension compresses, the car gains camber (as in positive camber). A large amount of negative camber is necessary to counter act that. Go look at 90s BTCC…
Needs more video!
Great comment. I was scrolling down looking to star someone who said “Regulations require 13" wheels!” or something, but this was much better.
That was a good buy, but it is the exception, not the rule.
The idea is to go just fast enough to create a bow wave, and then hold that speed. Water will be higher just in front of the car, but lower at the grill. That’s the theory anyway.
That’s what I was thinking. All the women have tops on.
