It’s weird how every post in his discussion history actually says “I will die alone”

Oh boy we got a badass over here

Do you like missing the point this much, or do you just read the headline and decide what the article was about from that?

She could start a little cafe on the Bachelor In Paradise beach.

it’s like getting “the bends” but from time, not pressure.

The “ time warrior” guy that Cronenberg mentioned dying in agony? Came from an alternate universe created by a temporal incursion on a Romulan mining ship , which means the Star Trek reboot movieverse (aka the Kelvinverse) just did a very small crossover with the the ‘Prime’ Trek Universe.

I liked how the walk in the snowy landscape mirrored the walk on the desert planet from the first episode of the show.

Literally from the source I cited just below written by a professor of architectural history at Northeastern University and author of multiple books about the history of American homes.

I’ll repeat it here since I can’t get out of the grays at io9
This “time sickness” has a TOS precedent.
Mr. Atoz had to “prepare” the people of Sarpedon to go into their own past to escape the supernova. Spock wasn’t prepared and started to go feral.

I’m happy moving into a world where assaulting people on set is not considered just living an “extreme” life. Also, wildly texting to a coworker about drowning and burning a woman and then abusing her corpse.

It’s funny that Lower Decks had a far more nuanced depiction of Orion’s with Ensign Tendi than Discovery has with them being pantomime villains.

remember when Picard could settle a problem with a discussion in the Conference room?

That seems like a lot of words, when you could just say, “I hate Discovery, I will never like Discovery, and I only watch the show because my life is empty and hating something gives me something to do in my boredom.”

Michael Burnham continues her streak being the worst officer in Starfleet history

You’d have a point if this wasn’t in reaction to right wingers screeching about manliness the first time he dared to dress a way they thought was inappropriate. But it was, so you don’t.

He deserves this, and so do we

If there is I’ve learned as a writer, evrn just as a writer of boring academic stuff, is that plans are overrated. It’s good to know roughly were you are going, especially if working on a group assignment (like a tv show or a movie trilogy...), but knowing how every detail fits with every other details is for literary

Clifford looks fine. I’ve seen some people compare the design to the photorealistic nightmare that was the original Sonic movie design but he’s a big friendly looking red dog. He’s fine.

Oof. Hard disagree on this one. I have my issues with Discovery, but this is easily one of the best episodes of the series for me, if only because it felt like a classic Trek episode. Who doesn’t love a good trial plot!

I’m not angry any more, this is sadly par for Handlen’s DISCO reviews
