Male fragility is a truly amazing thing.
Because, you see, they’re not sexist. They just so happened to downvote literally anything with a woman in it. For other reasons.
Thank you. I know it makes me pedantic as fuck, but seriously—why is this phrase so hard for folks to get right?
So he does care some?
Instead of “Rookie”, I thought the headline was going to say “An Actual Dolphin” and I wouldn’t have been any more or less surprised.
I don’t think celebrities are necessarily obligated to voice political concerns, but when TS uses feminism as marketing, I think she somewhat opens herself up to this kind of criticism.
You know, Taurus.
it just means you’ve got two victims who exercised bad judgement
Fair point, re: “immoral.” I don’t like the term, perhaps because “unethical” feels better. I feel like morality is what’s in the soul, and ethics is more weighing cost vs. gain of you and others. But without splitting hairs, yes, Jose was selfish to put his friends in harm’s way, even though he probably didn’t feel…
Jose definitely did something immoral, it’s gross negligence. He put his friends in grave danger for no reason. That’s why (living) people get convicted of vehicular manslaughter for doing what he did, and sent to jail for a long time.
“Never ride with a drunk driver” is awesome life advice, but has nothing to do with where legal and moral blame should be placed here.
Sorry, that was a mistake on my part. Thanks for correcting it!
No, the two people he was with knew he was intoxicated, as they were
I feel you, but Jose’s two friends—as hard as this is to write, and it really is—bear some responsibility for what happened to them. Much in the same way that two people who voluntarily enter a car with their totally fucking smashed/coked out friend and let him drive can’t be 100% exculpated.
So, fuck this guy then. He got all the love when he died, but he would clearly have been guilty of manslaughter had he lived. He killed two people.
... in the middle of the night
Who would’ve thought the 3 am boat crash in Miami would involve drugs and alcohol
McDonald’s pays a decent wage for the work being performed. I worked there as a teen and was treated well, and learned a lot about the responsibilities of being employed. I didn’t earn much money ($4.25/hr back then), but I consider it to have been paid training.
“niggling?”
