Kinja never seems to publish when I upload photos, so I’m just going to put links to my Google Drive. My costume is “More than 1 way to skin a cat” and won me 2nd place at a Halloween Costume contest last night (go me!). The promoters took video for Instagram, so I’ll link the 2 part clip as well. Group effort for the Addams Family. We do need a bigger group (Fester & Pugsley, at least), and my Lurch is a little obviously repurposed from my home-made Frankenstein monster (on which I really do need to re-do the forehead piece, that one’s seen too much use and is showing its age). Still, a noble effort, I think.

My Sonic costume from a couple halloweens ago. Made from an altered hoodie, fabric sewn onto a body suit, and fabric glued onto eva foam for the gloves. Not shown here are my red shoes with gold buckles made from eva foam.

Last year, I suited up here as Naked Snake/Big Boss. This year, I’m an Assassin (Sh!). I used the same gloves from my last costume, but with the official Assassin’s Creed Hoodie and Phantom Blade from AC:Unity (both from UbiWorkshop!), sleeves rolled up to show off the Lion Rampant tattoo I got in Scotland back in

I’m dressed as “Weird Al” Bert Einstein! It’s a combo of Albert Einstein and Weird Al Yankovic. My awesome wife had to glue gun a mustache together for me at the last moment after I forgot to get one. The accordion actually works!

This is our Wonderland WIP pic. Last couple years we’ve had the dog do a brief photo shoot and spared her any other Halloween duties. Next year I might just cut and paste her mug. She’s a champ.

I’m Bobby Sussman and this is my BFF Nadia Kovacs. While attending a Halloween party on the property, Disneyland relaxes their policies on adults wearing costumes in the park. So, why not go to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in Starfleet Uniforms? More of this and even a video of Stormtroopers taking us to see Kylo Ren are

Busted out this mash-up of Cyclops styles for LA Comic-Con and plan on using it again for the WeHo Halloween Block Party. Apologies for the poor photo quality.

These are the 3 looks I spotted at NYCC, though none will be my Halloween costume. Next on the docket is a Last Jedi Poe Dameron I’ve been working on for my personal Halloween party, and then I’m thinking about either Indy again or John McClain for my work Halloween party.

My son and I are IronDad and Spider-Lad. (Hopefully I got this picture to work). I built the Ironman armor from EVA foam and used the same with a PVC core to make the boy’s spider legs

The Halloween Costume Contest returns! I can’t decide to suit up as Snake (MAN, that was awesome getting into the header image) again like last year, or try something different.

Telling the kid tomorrow—when you refuse to wear your tentacle collar, you get cropped! Them’s the breaks!!! (Thank you...you may know this is my favorite time of year).
