I am fully aware of the history of Battlefield and CoD. I just wanted to give the response that extra bit of stupidity, because the whole notion "X game is in the same genre as Y game" is just too stupid to me. Games get to borrow from each other, they get to clone each other and this is what drives games forward.

Battlefield ripped off Call of Duty because it is a fps

The "I am not famous anymore" public stunt guy.

This is genius. Randy Pausch (he was great, you should totally check him out) had a speech about educating students, how he thought the best way would be to have them play a game and while they're thinking they're playing the game, they're actually acquiring knowledge. This is very similar to that - people came here

I had the same problem, just put a weaker bulb in the WC, and it will be fine.

February doesn't excite me in terms of games, so while waiting for March to slap me in the face with The Witcher 3 and Dark Souls 2, I'll catch up on some classics I never beat. Like Tomb Raider 4 and 5 and the Baldur's Gates if I can.

That is just JEEZAS making new worlds and also proof that HL3 will be announced in March.

Creating them with the intend of reminding the Super Mario pipes doesn't mean they are using copyrighted assets. Using copyrighted asset means they used the same sprites that were used in the Mario games. They didn't trace it, they ripped it out of the game. That is what "using copyrighted asset" means. I really doubt

Unless Nintendo owns the copyright to green pipes it did not steal copyrighted assets. Pixel art is extremely easy to do. It is faster to make a green pipe than it is to rip it out of a Nintendo game. Using copyrighted assets means they use assets ripped out of a game. Which they didn't do. The sprites in the game are

Better start thinking of how to make socialism work, because if robots will replace humans at jobs, how is capitalism gonna work now?

That is why users shouldn't buy such games. The law doesn't really need to interfere. If law stopped people from making any form of derivative works, we wouldn't have a variety of art in any medium. Sure, rip offs are cheap and pathetic, so is McDonald's food, but people buy that. In a capitalistic world, we should

Typical. A moron using a moronic response when it was pointed out that they were wrong.

No, it does not. It uses sprites that were created specifically for the game. Unless you can prove that Nintendo owns the copyright to any green pipe, there is no copyright infringements here. Pixel art like that is extremely easy to do.

It didn't steal copyrighted assets. Please refrain from making a joke of yourself.

It sounds good... but none of what they showed was really scary. I remember one of the few times I felt anxious in games - was Painkiller, I played it on a GeForce MMX440 or some crap like that, it didn't support the flashlight effects, so I had to play the game without flashlight. Fine. Except for the asylum level.

As much as it doesn't matter to me, maybe the exclusion of racial diversity would be for the better of the game, if accuracy is what we're after. :| Just google 'scientific racism' and get to know SCIENCE from the middle ages. It is horribly racist and while it could make for a great game, especially if you could play

Nope. You own the kid, though. That is why you have custody cases - the kid belongs to the parents and they need court to tell them who can keep it. They are responsible for the mistakes of the kid, which is impossible if it doesn't belong to them. You can't be responsible for another person's actions without owning

Making jokes is fine because it is with the intent of being funny. Having the opinion is with the intent of being an egocentric asshole. Your opinion on other people's looks does not matter.

It's not about being hurtful or not. Be hurtful all you want. It is about being a cunt versus not being a cunt. You can

Now playing

I really don't understand this music. This is sexy to me:

Can we please not call these bitches "critics"?
