Beyer is an amazing writer. Her Voyager books are some of the best of the entire Trek novel universe. So happy to see she is part of Discovery.

I remember watching this when it came out and I just cried my eyes out. I knew what it meant for this character, who in the first episode tells Riker he doesn’t like children, to go on to be a grandfather...only to have it all stripped away in a moment.

The entire Bajorian religious subplot was supremely embodied in the amazing Louise Fletcher. How they got her to agree to star on a show about aliens I will never know but I will forever be thankful for it.

While they did not use her to her full potential, Ryan brought a great deal to the character. I think her subtlety was overlooked. She could say more with a raised eyebrow than Beltran did in 7 seasons.

Kira’s growth was nearly as amazing as Sisko’s. I just got finished watching all the Dominion episodes and I still get awestruck by her character helping the Cardassian resistance because I know what it meant for her to be there.

I love this movie and yes, he eats the scenery up.

You’re so right. Promethea was def a info-dump.

Overall, I agree but I would make some exceptions to this statement. His Supreme work was just as imaginative as his Swamp Thing run. Top 10 is also a good read, if a bit more commercial in nature. Tom Strong and Promethea are more about concepts than actual story but still enjoyable and approachable reads. And of

Though they are a bit heavy, I’m fine with my LG HBS 900. I miss the soft rubber of my old 700 (jumping rope is a literal pain in the neck) but these are still exceptionally comfortable with great sound. Of course it is 3x the price of the NB 10 but after returning 4 different pairs of bluetooth headphones I bit the

To be fair, Paramount knew he lacked experience and to let him run it into the ground without proper oversight was indeed the studio’s fault. Yes, they gave him the director’s chair because he refused to come back otherwise but that’s no excuse for throwing hands up in the air and letting things fall where they lay.

I didn’t read the New52 version of the book thought I got the gist of what she was about - angsty teen, didn’t like/care for her cousin, etc. - and didn’t care for it.

I do it. It’s my way of getting the guy - oh yeah, I’m gay so not just a str8 thing - to refocus out of his bliss back into the real world.

It feel kind of event-y compared to Season 1. The shit-thing is where it started going too far for me (Nip/Tuck kinda did something similar 10 years ago). It was at this point that Rachel came off as purely heartless and manipulative whereas up to then she seemed to at least wrestle with her demons before going

I’m single with no kids and I was thinking something along the same line.

She brings up her “hiatus” but there are no follow-up questions about it (i.e., the reason for it, which would be her shoplifting arrest).

Not for nothing, but the week prior WB is releasing a Signature Edition of Iron Giant which will contain two brand new scenes.

Average annual rainfall in the bay area is under 2 feet (~20 inches). Average annual rainfall in FL is about 5 feet (Orlando is 53 inches, Miami is 61 inches, Pensacola is 65 inches).

Sounds like I made good decision with not watching Season 2.

Precedent has been set regarding fingerprints - not protected - but the logic is sound.

I’ve seen similar illustrations but 3-D really brings it to life.
