Yes it does indeed spoil it for me. I like the surprise of not knowing where the story could be going.

Yeah, as good as John’s was on his earlier books, once he took over Green Lantern his writing got dark and stayed that way. He used to be a favorite of mine but hasn’t been for a while now.

I always assumed Watchmen was part of an alternate Earth once the multiverse came back, so while it’s a nice (almost) official inclusion, I’m not like “OMG!!”

She kicked all sorts of ass on Quantico, I don’t see her as Bond only because of the overall nature of Bond who is emotionally closed off which doesn’t appeal to me. I’d rather she play a new type of spy. If freakin Matt Damon can make Jason Bourne a thing, she could do it too.

I’m glad they worked it out. I stand by my original POV that Paramount and CBS own Star Trek lock, stock, and barrel and had every legal right to shut Axanar down. However, as many others have pointed out, Star Trek is a very rare franchise in that there would be no Star Trek franchise to fight over if not for the

Yeah, that car sequence was amazing. I read the Wiki entry on the comic book - never read it so not beholden to its narrative - so kinda know the backstory of what’s going on but it was still nice to watch unfold. Of all the story elements, I thought the vampire was the most interesting. The scene after the car fight

I think the Twin Peaks angle is fresh, though I def want there to be some lighter/humorous stuff too.

Yeah, I said this too. She’ll stay with the show perhaps in a less regular capacity. Kara’s move out from in front of her office to another floor is a nice out in that respect.

Right?! I watched his interview on Monday’s CBS This Morning and he said he was open to coming back for one-off episodes. De Pablo also recently said the following in an interview at Babson College on 4/27/16 so who knows what could happen (emphasis added):

A testament to the creative team and Atwell’s acting is the fact that as strong as Peggy Carter was, she was still a woman. While I like strong female characters, too often they are written as men (which isn’t a slam dunk in the strong character department anyway, but that’s a discussion for another day).

I’ve read 3 reviews so far and all give this book high praise. So glad I put this on my pull list. Can’t wait to read it.

Come on CBS, renew Limitless already. Such a great show.

I just found out about the Batman Beyond sequence - it is one if not the best animated intros, period! - but I did not know about the JLU episode. I instantly knew which one it was when you mentioned the title and remember it fondly. It was a great episode.

It’s a two-hour flight from LA to VAN. She could stay on board if they moved her shooting schedule to midweek (T-TH). That way she could continue to be home with Harrison and son most of the week and wkends, which she has been emphatic is a priority for her.

Boo. On the plus side, we got two excellent seasons of a show - with a strong female protagonist that was actually a woman and not just a woman written as a man - that I wasn’t sure was going to be worth my time in the first place. The writing was above average and Atwell is a great actress who I hope has many more

We watched two different shows.

That was the original premise sure, but since about Season 3 the show has been about Castle and Beckett’s love affair. Nothing wrong with that but just because she is leaving doesn’t mean the show can’t go on as something different. Hence the rest of my comment about using a Beckett-less season to establish the

While I want Stana to stay around, Fillion is the show let’s be honest so I’m sure things will be fine as long as her exit make sense within the show’s logic. If she exits, there will at least be a new captain so there’s that. Honestly though I would like to see Alexis start playing a bigger role in the show. Then in

Super Fly of course.

It’s very much in the same wheelhouse as Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters, for example.
