I think the point is that the chipped card doesn’t offer its account number to the reader if you don’t slide it. Who knows if this ‘skimmer’ can read the account number without sliding the card?

Now you’re going to try to tell me Toyota built the engines for their 2000GT’s!!! What is this madness?
This is a Saab 95:
You can’t say someone’s expectations are invalid just because no other cars satisfy them anymore. I can mark the lack of yellow paint against the RS regardless of whether other cars in the class are yellow. Maybe yellow just works for me, maaaan.
I can’t say for all states, but I’ve found the law usually just says the plate has to be mounted vertically on the front of the vehicle. The DOT allows some wiggle room in Y axis as well.
We can only hope he meant a Gremlin X.
It’s gorgeous. Some day I’d love to take it west further than the Twin Cities, but Wisconsin is surprisingly pretty as well. A stop in the Dells is always worth it- there are some really pretty hiking trails around there.
Go for it. I use Amtrak quite a bit and while the appointments aren’t to the level of airports, you get first-class style seats and leg room everywhere, outlets at every seat and great scenery. Usually the trains I use* are pretty decent about time schedules, but you should definitely go with the flow in order to have…

One of the problems with the modern minivan market is that you can’t compare a small crossover to a minivan because there are no “mini” minivans. Now, compare a similarly sized Explorer or Traverse to a Grand Caravan and an Odyssey and you’ll see that the minivans actually get equal or better fuel economy. I do wish…
K, glad you like the MDX :)
Meh. I did just fine with my Rabbit that was rated (new) at 0-60 in 10+ seconds. Handling on the T&C was less of a concern than the size itself, and making it smaller would help that greatly. I don’t really care about AWD, sorry. More of a snow tire guy.
The first four wheel drive vehicle to win an FIA sanctioned rally was a Jeep Wagoneer at Press On Regardless in Michigan. Then again, our roads are probably wider than those in Europe.
I mean, it would be hilarious to watch, but it would suck for all the reasonably sized cars just trying to have fun... :/
I have to imagine it would drift around a tight corner and become wedged between the sides of the course, blocking all other competitors and shutting down the stage until sweep could get in.
I get you. I rented a T&C last year for a rally trip, and while it was nice to fit three bicycles in the back., I really don’t appreciate that there are no smaller options. But then again, I naturally gravitate to the smallest hatchbacks available.
All but the Sedona get between 26-28 mpg highway. Not great, but if you start with 28mpg you could pretty easily bump that to 29 or 30 on the highway with a couple mods and careful driving.
Why do you prefer it to a minivan, which offers all the same pros, with even better use of space?
Just watched the vid. Great! The history is really intersting! Do you have more footage of the steering mechanism? I’m fascinated but very confused as to the function of all those idler wheels on the chain.
