Probably for the same reason Valve won’t do Half Life 3, Disney won’t do Tron 3, Marvel is killing all X-men and Fantastic Four things, and we’ll never see Dark Crystal 2. Short sighted bean counters and or corporate ego.

Dammit. I am humbled.
All the tech. It’s so wonderfully an 80's futurist James Bond inspired mashup with cell phones it’s wonderful. It’s basically like life imagined through a Roger Moore Bond flick. Only a with lines that are a million times funnier.
With all due respect, it’s fucking ‘Splooge’.
Around two years ago or maybe more cuz I’m old or don’t care... Doc Octopus did a brain switcheroo with Spidey and took over Peter Parker’s life in a weird vendetta thing to prove that he was capable of being a ‘superior’ Spiderman. All kinds of changes happen for both hero and Parker. For Spidey, part of the changes…
Interesting. Then I apologize for the assuming and rambling.
I kinda don’t get the hate for the American version though. Few Americans were going to understand any of the message of the film in the first place. Couching the whole movie as a King Kong genre type deal makes sense to me. More than a few Americans were still kinda sore over Pearl Harbor and that whole um, Pacific…
Right here buddy. Superior Spiderman is the cat in the big ole’ spider robot.
You must not be from the USA. We do still have them. They’re basically like a boarding school but with military training and discipline as core parts of the curriculum along with regular schooling. I know some kids as young as 12 but I don’t know if there are any military boarding schools for anyone younger. Some…
Have you seen the Third series yet? There’s actually a couple episodes that were UPLIFTING! San Junipero and Nosedive are part of the show runners efforts to lighten up a tad...
I know I’m kinda loco here but i kinda liked parts of it. I mean my only honest problem with the movie was the stupid decisions everyone seemed to keep making which has been explained away in older posts (Weyland screened for crazy impulsive people and the robot spiked everyone’s sleepy juice).
And I’ll be the one to stay greyed forever I guess. She’s also an Asian mutant. Some Asian women look 15 years younger than their actual age and that on top of mutant “stay youngish forever” genes means they can get away with whatever they want on her look.
Don’t you think being able to see someone’s past through touch is a good skill for a politician or at least for an assistant ambassador? I mean you’d have to be the socially awkward or off-putting person on the planet to negate that kind of advantage over a political opponent.
That’s ok cuz I can’t unsee that backdoor.
The nerd who explained it to me described it as more of a compulsion...
I only read a couple of the manga. Mainly i was regurgitating stuff from the cartoon and YouTube videos that explain the mythology of the manga itself. Sounds like they and I got some stuff wrong. Sorry sorry
TITAN SPOILERS
Same in the US. I knew about Tintin, Asterix, and Spirou twenty years ago. Moebius even before that because of Heavy Metal. Valerian? I only just found out about him a couple years ago.
He does however remind me of the character portrayed in the cartoon which might be responsible for exposing the story of Valerian and Laureline than the comics were...
