I spent a brief stint working for a analog digitation service (got photos or videos, we’ll put em on your computer). Unfortunately for VHS there was no shortcuts - you kept the thing running in the background as it was digitally captured (and had to keep an eye on it/listen to it lest it stop midway through and you

It did a little bit. I was incredulous when I clicked the link. But he was very straightforward in his reasoning, and unfortunately it’s gonna take (many) more folks like him* until the powers that be give a damn.

Goddamnit Jinx Grey Gardens is the best snatch game, now and always and forever.

Yeah, I binged through them a few months back... Definitely rose tinted glasses, especially those that included a legitimately iconic performance.

Ben then Shangela for me right now. Don’t get the haters. The GoT is getting a bit silly but other than that she’s been great.

You can tell Ben did her homework and then some on every lipsync.

Her home, job, life, family (literally all of what was

There are already similar but not at all as creepy programs for seasonal workers (summer camps, etc). But they actually get paid at least minimum,  and the ones I worked with had a few extra months on their visas to go traveling before heading back home.

There’s a whole dang city in Michigan that was almost entirely Polish immigrants and their descendents at one point. Now it’s a mix and shifting more towards Middle East / South Asian representing.

Yep way better.

1. Dutch oven bread and Ethiopian lentils got me through a bad time when I should’ve been on food stamps but pride + fear of getting my BF’s mom kicked out of her house that we were crashing in meant I didn’t. The former was a stupid stupid reason.

Right?!?
