That is literally the point of it.
That is literally the point of it.
I hope that’s not false praise...
Well yes and no. Although modern all wheel drive systems do help with reducing acceleration times, Koenigsegg has developed fiendishly capable traction control systems that can harness and use the power their cars make. Also, there’s another comment talking about the limitation of acceleration times - 0-62mph for most…
Well for starters, the Regera is RWD-only so there’s a limit to how much you can put down through two tyres. And the fact that there’s no conventional gearbox means the Regera doesn’t have to deal with silly old-fashioned things like gear changes which means spectacular acceleration. As a result, it’ll hit 248mph in…
Yes, that person is me. I think it looks stunning. This is badged as an Alfa Romeo presumably because Alfa thinks that this worthy of carrying the Alfa Romeo badge. Hundreds of hours of coachbuilt craftsmanship by hand is by no means dismissable.
With a bumper to bumper warranty?
This isn’t made by Alfa Romeo...
That’s the point. Disco Volante means “flying saucer” and is also the name of Largo’s hydrofoil in Thunderball.
Opel/Vauxhall tried it with the Zafira OPC/VXR. They were bloody quick (240hp, 60 in 7.2 and 144mph) but they were also expensive to run and pretty hairy to drive, being FWD and all.
Not only that, I’ve heard that some fasten it first and put it on like a jumper.
They’re doing pretty damn well. China’s scooping up a fat load of them.
...because a bus is more expensive. I just said, right there.
Perhaps the best streetcar/tram systems are the ones that were built in place in the very beginning to service the people. I find Hong Kong to be a great example of this - IIRC, the trams started running in 1904 and continue running to this day. They may be old and none of them have A/C part from one prototype, but…
Mid-engined, so the fuel tank probably goes in the front, like a Porsche.
Nope, I believe those are the standard bumpers. The TR7 was designed primarily for the US market, so blame US legislation.
Not a bad idea actually, the TR8s that went racing had Rover V8s.
Alrighty then, let’s get that impeller wedge up and we’ll be on our way.
Jeez, the Pathfinder used to be a big, beefy thing...
Apart from the fact that the P1 has two enormous turbos, but go on...
I am trying extremely hard not to laugh.
