That it “kicks off phase 5” just means it’s the first phase 5 show. There has never been a particularly intricate build up to anything in the MCU.

Calling every day for three weeks is definitely “not respecting boundaries”.

As someone that has had “eras” in friend groups, I get the idea that he moved on, but to not respond to a call or text? I find it incredibly weird that the one friend called him every day for three weeks and couldn’t get a text back saying anything? I mean did he have the right number?

I don’t know how I feel about this series so far.
