I get what you're saying, and I agree in that regard, but my bladder doesn't care if a movie is well edited.

It's probably wishful thinking, but I'm hoping it's because they're still trying to decide whether to put an intermission in. I can't imagine they'd STILL be at the editing stage at this point; the actual contents of the film at this stage HAVE to be locked in I'd imagine, but if they were still weighing an

No? The sentence was grammatically sound as written. Your "correction" made it a double negative.

I don't think the thesis of the article is that it's necessarily a bad thing that these references were cut out during localization, or that they should have been kept in the game. It's just an article to show us something cool we might not have known about the original Japanese version of the game.

That's really the only response to this.

That’s a big “if,” though. Yes, they could take the time to go through and painstakingly remaster all of the backgrounds in the game. Yes, I’ve seen the comparisons from fan-made backgrounds, and they are gorgeous. Would it be worth the time and money expense for Square-Enix though? I don't know that remastered

I was actually thinking along the lines of the version that was part of the Young Avengers, but that could be interesting as well.

You seem to be a Silver Surfer fan, so I'll ask you this, and keep in mind I'm asking as a person with really only a cursory knowledge of the character: what do you do with a solo Silver Surfer movie without having introduced the Fantastic Four or Galactus? Is there enough to the character to warrant a solo film

Vision doesn't even need to "come back to life," per se. Sheri spent the last 30 minutes of Infinity War mapping his brain essentially, so in theory they could just build a new Vision, which is what I'm still convinced they'll do.

I don’t think anyone’s confused about this though. It’s just an easy distinction, because it *looks* like a live-action movie, it’s easier to call it that than referring to it as “the photorealistic computer-animated Lion King film.” No one actually thinks they filmed real animals talking and singing, so I feel like

Okay but that's Alan Tudyk's voice, right?

I’m not sure you realize just how big a billion is. Black Panther made $1.347 billion, and it cost about $200 million to make. Even if we estimate an extra $100 million for marketing, that's a full billion in profits. Solo needed to make $500 mil to break even, and it fell a little over $100 mil short of that. That's

I don’t think they’re anywhere close to being in the hole. With the profits that Infinity War and Black Panther have lodged, they could have tossed a few more bombs and still be printing money.

Yeah, I'm guessing they wouldn't lock access to the character behind pre-order, but everyone who doesn't pre-order or buy the game in time or whatever will probably just have to pay for the guy.

Your insistence on correcting OP is not nearly as much of a killjoy as the excruciating mental image that that second paragraph has created. Yeesh.

I'm not going to say it would necessarily be a travesty, but I do wholly believe that Marvel will hold off on putting "Annihilation" anywhere near a title unless they're planning on including Annihilus in said work, so I think we can rule that out as a possibility this time around.

I was actually thinking that maybe the reshoots were to lay some sort of groundwork for some Fox properties, now that that deal's more or less done, but you might be onto something there.

If someone points out something as obviously being transphobic, and you disagree, I'm sorry to be the one to tell you this but...

I live in the US, and I still get most of them confused.

So you’re saying if the other guy's review was dressed differently, or maybe had taken some self defense classes, it wouldn't have been plagiarized?
