You might want to read up on my real point. See below.

OK, my BIGGER point wasn’t necessarily that she’s now poor, it’s that abusers are extremely calculating and find every way possible to alienate you from other people - including saying they’ll handle the business side of things and next thing you know, you can’t take $100 out of the ATM without permission. From a very

I don’t think it’s fair to assume she’s not economically dependant on him at this point. Perhaps not in the same way as a single mother with less than a high school education living in rural West Virginia, but abusers want to control every aspect of your life. As far as I know she hasn’t done much work recently, so I

Isn’t Nicki Minaj busy being married to a sex offender?

Women also never had to deal with spontaneous erections in the 6th grade every time the teacher bent over; we all got our struggles.

Counter argument: That’s not side boob. That’s cleavage. Side boob is the outter boob.

You think taking your kid to the circus, him thinking you’re off to have a fun day, only to put pictures of animal abuse in his face is a better approach than, I don’t know, having a talk with him about how circuses don’t treat animals well and so you won’t spend your money there? But hey, whatever works for you and

I love how this thread has morphed from “maybe don’t accost children and make them cry” to me suddenly becoming a lobbyist for Ringling Bros.

And it’s jagOFF, you prick.

OK, troll, that’s not what I said at all. Maybe the fact you don’t have basic reading comprehension skills is the reason you’re struggling to find a job with those cushy benefits.

As someone who literally spends at least an hour a day reading through lawsuits which have just been filed, I assure you, yes, there are. Do they always result in a settlement or a judgement, no, but someone still has to take the time and money to go to court to argue why it should be thrown out. And I didn’t say you

Kids need to learn a lot of things eventually - like what sex is, but if a 6 year old ask, you don’t show them porn. There are age appropriate ways to answering challenging questions from children. Traumatizing children as means to and end is CHILD abuse. Let me guess, something along the lines of, “every rapist,

Exactly. “We think there is a man running a sex cult out of one of your properties.”

Yes, traumatizing children was the only way to achieve the end of the circus. You probably also think it’s totally cool to show children videos of slaughterhouses to turn them off meat.

I just think people will sue over ANYTHING and want to hold even the most tangentially involved parties accountable and it’s ridiculous. There’s some spilled Coke on the floor of a restaurant, I slip - now I’m suing the restaurant AND Coca-Cola. I mean, accidents happen, was someone really negligent?

College campuses that size are worse than high schools in terms of gossip. Even if people didn’t know specifics, no way something like that stays under the radar for long, which is why it’s so fucked up.

My guess is, ironically enough, Sarah Lawrence didn’t want to intervene for fear of getting sued. Sarah Lawrence has an undergraduate enrollment of like 1400 kids. I went to a school that was literally twice that size and professors still managed to notice if I missed more than one class. There’s no way people didn’t

He was living on campus, bullshit there was nothing they could do. Students sign housing contracts which I’m sure stipulate how long “guests” can stay, so even if the argument was “her dad is allowed to visit”, after a certain period of time, which I’m guessing wasn’t all that long, the university had every right to

NXVIM has to be the most bizarre thing I’ve heard.

And leather? Really? You’re gonna have to protest basically every speaking engagement ever because the majority of Americans wear leather in some capacity - shoes, purses, wallets, etc.
