It's about being a raw pure expression of a focused track car.

Well, there goes any productivity for me today.

For an engine builder that is the hardest thing to build for. I'm not saying F1 engines aren't impressive or more advanced, but they do get the luxury of not having to do it with valve springs and pushrods. Running at a constant RPM is hell on a valvetrain, and that's what big ovals are.

Which, of course, is why all those Formula 1, CART/IndyCar and sports car racing guys have cleaned up and run all those roundy-rounder drivers out of NASCAR. Because obviously, those don't know how to drive.

That's almost like a clown lipstick. Although I've always appreciated Gulf livery.

I think it's safe to say that if Kogay did ANYTHING to contribute to this accident happening, he should be banned from ever entering into a race again.

I feel like Road America probably comes to mind for more people, with America being in the name and all...

But forget the CMSP guideline - here's mine:

This fits exactly zero bolts and nuts on my old american cars.

Oh I've seen it. I used to get it on final gear and quit comparing it to the original goddamn it! The only thing that is the same is the name other than that it's a completely different show . If the show was called "3 dudes driving cars" everybody would love it but because it's "Top so called Gear" everybody hates on

That entire video is still one of the top 5 videos of all time. Amazing from start to finish.

You don't drive a classic car expecting it to handle like a Porsche 918, that's not the point.

For a second there I thought we lost Vernors

Fair enough, I can agree with that. I enjoy a good debate, I really do. I'm glad we can both agree to enjoy our respective viewpoints. Be careful ;) Not to worry, I don't mind turning the TC off as often as possible.

I was just thinking about how I like the vent windows in the 67 Camaro I was driving. That, and drip rail moldings make it possible to drive in light rain and still get some open air.

All I can say is I really miss them in my old 90s F150. A nice spring or fall day, open up the quarter windows, and get all of the cool air, smells of the season coming at you.

Why in the hell would having Danica Patrick as a driver be a good thing? Yeah, she'd get some eyeballs on the race. And all those eyeballs can watch her lose, and then be petulant about it.

Racing slicks have a coefficient greater than 1, otherwise, top fuel dragsters, f1 cars, Le Mans cars, and most every other race car would be much slower.

My brain just clicked. He was faster beam-to-beam, but slower off the line. He still reached the finishing beam second. Thank you.
