The tweets were not racist; they were jokes about white people, which is a different thing that is not racism.

Keeping in mind that I agree with the thesis statement, “The New York Times really fucked this one up”, those are some pretty nasty tweets. You really went well out of your way to cherry pick the less vile ones, to the point that it calls your objectivity on the matter into question.

Making jokes about white people isn’t the same as making racist jokes about black people, or Asian people, or Jews, or gay people, or any other historically oppressed minority.

Yep, I get the whole punching up, punching down thing, but, and there always is one isn’t there, a line does have to be drawn. I mean, heck, white people are soon going to be a minority in the US anyway so how about we stamp down on racism now instead of waiting a couple of years.

Here is a crazy idea watch the series before calling for it to be cancelled. Also from what I read about the series this doesn’t seem like fat shaming at all, it seems like the opposite of it.

The thing about liking big pecs is interesting as well, as Dan mentions that it’s kind of related flipside version of being into boobs. Color me guilty of that one, I love a big chest on a man...

She really did nothing but kick ass (literally and metaphorically) for six incredible seasons of television. I’m going to try and ignore any assholes trying to bash her and just be happy for her. She earned this.

Not to mention she was dancing before the reveal. Butterflies are way too fragile to be bouncing around inside your boobs, no matter how well they’re cocooned. Her face when her first reveal went sour broke my heart. I would’ve been happy with an Asia win, but that whole reveal was not a wise choice.

I don’t know about you, but I enjoy this program and am glad that they are making more of it.
