I drove from Base Camp to Devil's Playground at 3 AM. Pardon me for then not having safety vehicles staged at Glen Cove during my drive. My statement was also specifically in regards to my observations during my hike from Devil's to the Summit.

I'm trained in Emergency Medicine, and I agree with you. As photographers, we are sometimes in the most remote spots. However, it's a possible legal issue if we're registered as media.

I think you need to quit making assumptions and understand that I was one of the people that placed my camera on the ground after the incident. Actually I dropped it, as stated in the original statement.

This isn't a knock on medical services, it's a factual account of their response times on the mountain. That said, that is not the sole issue that I have written about. Refer to the transition to gravel at the summit or my response about the boulder field at the top.

This is an International event that just completed its 92nd running. Low budget is not an excuse, especially when you have teams in attendance from Red Bull, GoPro, Porsche, Ducati, and Geico.

Had the boulder field on the summit been removed or taken care of, this entire event may not have taken place. Safety nets are cheap.

No worries. Someone misinterpreted my words on race day and started the rumor that it took ten minutes for any sort of medical attention to arrive. Staying on top of it now.

Don't believe the hearsay. I was there. He did not "celebrate" across the line as everyone is insisting. The only people allowed at the summit are competitors, officials, and media. Rest Easy, #86.

The best comparison that you're going to get is based on qualifying times, which were all run in near identical conditions. The only time that's listed above that was not run in qualifying is GA GT, due to the session being black flagged.
