I seldom shut down my Macs, either. The Mini because it runs quite fine for weeks without any glitch, and the MB because... despite having the preference correctly set, Firefox does not restart with the last session of open tabs. And that’s a pity because of the two, the MB is definitely the one to get sluggish rather…
The naming seems... weird, then. I’d expect “shutdown”, to well, shut things down, and I would not be surprised a “restart” didn’t.
