All of these thanks to the power of depreciation and a wife that trusted me. Plus you can sell them all for what you paid for them. The Elise was my second car out of college and daily driver for a couple years. It opened me up to the car community and reading about others Elise’s (Doug Demuro) is what brought me to

Thanks for this. It’s amazing how many servicemembers are all over the world in harms way and very few people seem to realize or care. Glad to be getting out soon; these nonsensical deployments take their toll.

hahahahaha in theory. There’s a reason we carry gas masks in the tanks. -US tanker

I own one and call it the “porsh.” I got too many weird looks when I said it correctly.

The Viper has one of the easiest clutches I’ve ever driven. My wife found the Viper to be a very simple car to operate on the times she drove it.

I took this course a couple weeks ago as I have just gotten into bikes. One guy failed the written test and two others failed out just for being bad at skills before the test. It was pretty strict, but it was the Army funded one and they are tired of Soldiers killing themselves so they just kick you out and tell you

I used a Viper as a daily driver for a year.

I daily drove a 2006 Elise for a year and you will get attention from children who think its an oversized hotwheels car, men who think its a lamborrari, and old ladies who think it’s cute. Most girls could care less about it.

KBB? You’d have trouble finding one with a branded title for that little. They’ve hovered around the 30k give or take mark for the last couple years. Great car and you won’t lose much if any on it. I sold mine for 3k more than I paid for it after 2 years and 15k miles. They hold their value well, but KBB doesn’t

well that didnt work...

Before Doug, I bought this as my DD

Did you write a post about the A-4 before?

It’s like everything else on this site, everyone has an opinion and disagrees with the people that have owned the cars because it sounds cool to be the tough guy. I believed the hype about the viper and quickly found out it's not at all like these commenters tend to think.http://oppositelock.kinja.com/daily-driving-…

Had the sport suspension. The ride was not uncomfortable because of the stiff suspension or handling, just overall not a comfortable car. And yes the caymans steering is nowhere near as telepathic but that has nothing to do with the comfort debate. Either the elise is uncomfortable or there is no such thing as an

Why is the exige less practical?

Are you in the UK? What year do you/did you own? My wife’s Cayman S is magnitudes greater comfort than the Elise was. I know it sounds cool to say its a comfortable car, but it’s simply not, and that’s okay, it’s not supposed to be. What modernish car is less comfortable than an Elise, because I’d love to try it out

I had the probax cloth seats. They were plenty comfortable for what they were, but not over long distances (over 100 miles). There aren’t too many cars that come stock with seats that can’t be adjusted.

Not uncomfortable? Are you serious? I can’t think of a less comfortable car. You sit in a rattling aluminum tub on a seat that has next to no padding. It will make even the most spry individual’s back hurt after 100 miles or so. And of course you’re sweaty, the AC is nothing to write home about. That being said, it’s

Hyperbolic title, to say the least. Interesting, though.
