Exactly.  Why would I want a Rivian when I know I can get a comparable product from a company that has existed and knows how to build cars?

When my wife and I go on road trips, we take the C-Max Energi.  Even with the battery, it will hold our luggage and some folding chairs and it’s great for us.

We have the same model and it has been fantastic.
