I assume that if they release the Wii U version now and release for PS3/Xbox 306 later, some gamers would have a hard time paying $60 for a port of a 7 month old game, pressuring Ubi to cut the price. By making the release simultaneous, $60 all the way around.

You used to be able to copy installed PS1 games and PS minis to the PSP. Then an update changed it so you can only install them to psp (and Vita), but not copy over the installed program. Now if I want to have a PS1 game on my PSP or Vita, I have to download it again or keep the 'bubble' handy as well on my PS3. …
