I forget what camera you are currently using, but Nikon is running a ‘free’ 30 day trial on thier new mirrorless Z50 camera.

While I like the 997 and will probably be in the market for one in the near future, I just don’t see any collectability or increased value unless you have an RS or some kind of limited edition. They just made too damn many of them (215,000 compared with 68,000 of the 993).

Yeah....some kind of ultra-capacitor (or as you said, two) and whatever extra juice you get can be used for passing/extra power.

I assume it’s for ventilated seats, but I can’t find that option for the rear. It actually says they are standard, but if that were the case there wouldn’t be a blank.

You misspoke, you recorded it, and then you published it.

$290 per ass

Video says “Thirty-five and 1/2 thousand dollars” for the package.

I looked it up myself....it has a 19.8 gallon battery and still doesn’t go as far as a Model S Long Range.

I drove a 2018(?) Macan GTS at Monticello Motor Club a few years ago during a Porsche event. After driving the same track in a Cayman GTS and a new 911 Targa, the Macan was......amazingly competent. Most of us walked away thoroughly impressed.

Interesting how you pointed out a lot of cool performance stats, but you left out the most important detail:

Or, burning through cash they are paying suppliers while the delivery date of the new planes keeps slipping.

No doubt they fell flat on the range. But from all accounts, it sounds like they succeeded in building an electric Porsche.

Racing, and race cars, are expensive.

Came here for this. Thank you.

My cousin lives there, and I’ve been a few times.  I’m usually on the ferry from Seattle, but will take the ‘short-bop’ plane one of these days.

Or maybe the next step for a plane like that is a hybrid. Surely it takes far more energy to get a plane airborne than it does to keep it aloft. Kick on the jet engine for take off, then switch to EV power once you reach cruising altitude. I’m not an engineer, but this makes all kinds of sense to me.

Probably a bad time for me to admit I’m looking at DCT GTI’s (the 986 is still a manual. All roadsters will always be manuals)

Is the Club included? You can’t go to Radwood without one.

My friend had a light blue, stick shift, bench seat K car in High School. It got us everywhere we needed to go senior year, as well as for a year or two after that.
