Yeah, that's something I was never aware of previously. They always struck me as having a very well-balanced chassis, but a couple years ago when I was considering looking at 2 year old A6's as a possible next car, I ran across that information and was very surprised.

Actually, no app at all. Try a pair of neoprene earplugs instead. As a light sleeper who often has trouble falling and staying asleep, it's funny how the sound of your own breathing will drown out most of the annoying sounds around you, while also lulling you off to sleep.
