It was a serious tone, but Whittaker’s Doctor kept it lighter and there was less of the yelling Capaldi seemed to do often. He was great, but it was feeling a little extra serious when he had extra serious episodes. So no matter which direction this goes I think it will feel less cumbersome than the last few seasons…

Yaz is who I think I like the best. It feels like she’s making up for the person that was killed in the Minotaur Shining hotel space station who would have been a great companion.
