Yeah, I really admire Tesla’s tech but I haven’t been really turned on by the look of any of their cars. Agreed, this is better.

Yes I really do think 🤣
Both the EV6 (Eve 6? Are the 90s coming back?) and the Ioniq 5 are better-looking than most. I’d take this over VW’s kinda lame EV lineup.
I had no idea this trim existed, and it’s kinda groovy. Sadly, even in pristine condition there’s no rare trim level on earth (save maybe the Cosworth) that could make a Vega worth $5,500. And this is far from pristine.
Assuming that Hindenburg isn’t mischaracterizing as in your example, the allegations are legit cause for concern.
Assuming this reporting is accurate does it even matter if it’s “cherry-picked”? This is terrible.
Here’s another one where it’s easy to confuse the question of “is this a fair price?” with “would I pay this price?”
Toyota had one. Chrysler kept developing turbines until the ‘80s. I recall they had a turbine Cordova and I believe that was their last prototype before they scrapped the whole program.
Yup, me too. AMT did the plastic kit, IIRC
This is one of the “holy grail” cars and I’m sure it sold for 7 figures (or at least high-6). It was ambitious and looked remarkably cool. Chrysler came this close to putting this tech into production.
Yeah, I don’t blame investors for going here, but I don’t see a real basis. This is a CEO engaging in optimism. That’s his job. Doesn’t appear to be any kind of willful misrepresentation.
Part of why these are appreciating so quickly is that it’s seriously hard to find a clean one that hasn’t been both modded and had the crap driven out of it. This one is nice. The price is good for the market even with that mileage.
Hahaha... have you seen the price tag that M-B charges for its resto-builds? Trust me, these are a bargain.
I walked by my local Ford store last night and noticed a Mach-E with a “sold” sign on the lot, so presumably at least some cars are being delivered.
I’m sure this will go down to a massive ND defeat (I didn’t even bother to look). And when I saw “wrapped” in the headline I was reflexively going that way, too, but I have to confess I kinda dig this.
$21k for a 7 year old Cayenne? With no obvious issues? NP all the way.
Holy crap, I remember these... and I wanted one SOOOOO bad.
I get that it’s not super-obvious, but there actually are some reasons to do this. First off, it provides a market for captured carbon, and a great incentive for major emitters to actually capture and sell it. Second, there’s a lot of current infrastructure that will stay useful that in a 100% EV world would have to…
That “pulsar artwork” carries a real “Frank Frazetta original on the side of a van” vibe...
I mean, this certainly looks better-than-average for this kind of effort, but that’s a freaking insane valuation. MAYBE $8k, and even at that I’d be treading carefully.
