Are you literally asking for a safe space from a blog post

What an absolutely nasty state we find ourselves in where something as plainly moral as “don’t steal asylum-seekers’ kids” has become a “political difference” that people are jumping into the comments to argue against. Our country has already sunk way too low.

Uhh good as time as any in my book. Why suddenly praise the man in death when he was a complete fucking cunt in life? Death does not mutually mean you deserve respect.

Nobody deserves to die of cancer, but let’s not sweep his past under the rug.

It’s possible to be “an advocate for the consumer” without resorting to transphobia or telling people to “get cancer and die.” You can try to whitewash it, but that’s a big part of the legacy Bain leaves behind.

“while somewhat naively ignoring or at least downplaying the wider context.”

When things get pointed out to you repeatedly and you still choose to ignore them, it’s not naivete anymore.

Was it ever really the right time for him to attack people for being trans?

Yes. I’ll miss him. But I don’t believe in ignoring peoples faults because they’re dead. If people attack his wife I’ll have something to say about it. Otherwise people should say what they want to say.

He brought a lot of grief to a lot of people. Fuck him. His corpse isn’t going to combust from not blowing smoke up it’s ass in death.

Why did you omit the most important and relevant tweet he ever made?
