Fuck yes, I have found my hill to die on.
Fuck yes, I have found my hill to die on.
Eat a fuck, you shit.
As identified elsewhere, please consider giving a shit.
If you’re a complete moron, sure.
Here’s a crazy notion.
Goddamn right. I really, really enjoyed that series far more than I ever expected to. I was trying to branch out from the usual suspects of television and remembered Freeform had a series. I didn’t expect much, certainly meh production values and because they were tucked away, probably some not-really-comics-related…
Chris could have absolutely filibustered for ten minutes, burn down Will, burn down Jada and burn down the academy. If they tried to play him off, you know he’d fucking snap.
His hands were behind his back for most of the time he was on the stage. It’s not an unusual standing pose. And “sticks his face out and tenses up,” dude, it’s called flinching. Smith was moving to close really fast, he didn’t seem to be slowing down, his instincts were probably “eh shit, I’ve seen this before, is he…
Here’s my hot take:
The Logan/Peter/Steve personalities won’t appear.
Well, that’s a felony.
A very interesting critique, and deserving of a response.
“But Theranos? It’s still a good idea. In a Silicon Valley where crypto now reigns, that means something. It makes Theranos one of the more complex and nuanced tales of Silicon Valley deception. Theranos isn’t the Juicero. It could’ve helped people. And Holmes, a female CEO in a sea of tech bros, was easy to root…
“We did not want to ever have Batman tempted to give up his costume for a normal life. The costume is his normal life.”
I grew up on this show. Gadget was the first character in entertainment I had a crush on. Yes. A cartoon character female mouse. Eat shit.
It’s a solid show all-around, and kinda has to be - because the finale is awful. The show has some genuinely inventive ways of choreographing its fight scenes and I actually found myself surprisingly glued to my seat as the mystery continually morphed and shifted, over and over. I mean, Reacher kills a tons of dudes…
He was given a lump of shit to work with. Titans was such a painful experience. Hawk, in particular, was extremely poorly written - his best opportunity came when he was written off the show, sadly. Dick Grayson is my favorite comic book character, flat out - that show is just.. such a wasted opportunity.
I remain unmoved by this entry, unfortunately. I’d love to like this show. I’ll watch anything Ming Na-Wen is in, she was the best part of Agents of SHIELD and I felt like her contribution to the Mandalorian kinda wasn’t awesome.
I am struggling with caring about this show. They’re attempting to service the “past” (post-Jedi) timeframe and Fett’s survival of the Sarlacc pit, loss of his armor, enslavement and recovery, while also trying to tell this post-Mandalorian story and the result is that neither feels particularly well-told or full.…
Some points that I think are either wrong or disingenuous.
