I haven’t seen Oppenheimer because it really just holds no interest for me but other than that, yeah, Memento is still his best film imho.

THEY “EXPLAIN” WHY HIS LAST NAME IS SOLO. FOR FUCK’S SAKE. LITERALLY NO ONE WAS SITTING AROUND WONDERING WHY HAN’S LAST NAME IS THE SAME AS A WORD MEANING “ALONE.” IT WAS JUST A COOL SPACE NAME. JESUS. GAH.

If taking drugs was like watching Tenet, nobody would take drugs.

Here’s a take: he’s never really topped Memento.

I’ll agree with others here that this is a very odd take. I’m a big fan of most of Nolan’s work, but this might be his single most unwatchable movie. I can buy into the concept that a movie doesn’t have to make sense as long as the audience is having a good time, but this movie wasn’t even fun.

They’re both worth checking out.

Back when the Film Club podcast was still running (sign), A.A. Dowd said that “Tenet is the kind of movie that Nolan’s detractors accuse him of always making” and I think that sums it up pretty well.

Nope, Tenet sucked.

Not unlike West World, it twisted itself in pretzels to show off how clever it was, and frankly it was the most boring movie I’ve seen in years :(

Dedicated to the Steelworkers of America. Keep reaching for that rainbow!

I always loved when Homer started hanging out with a couple of hippies and he shares some music “from his personal stash that’ll really blow some minds” and then it’s Uptown Girl

“Hey guys, come on, shut up”

I love sleeping with butch manly men, including those messy closet cases. So much fun being gay slutty

Also the 27th anniversary of me saying “Hot stuff coming through” every time I have to get around anyone. A timeless joke never gets old, right?

I still say “Hot stuff, comin’ through!” And “Zzzzzap!” From time to time.

Shooting bottle rockets into the water under your friend’s canoe is a very wholesome and character building experience.

This article is triggering because I watched all eight seasons of Smallville.

And the time before that.

I do not agree with the political views Cleese has expressed with regard to “cancel culture” or anything else at all, but let’s put the brakes on before we start making Idle out to be some sort of hero here. This whole thing started because he is complaining about not having enough money, including a house he sold for
