I have always thought of this as the next step beyond auto-dimming mirrors... Auto-dimming windows

As a Shreveport resident, I'm hoping it isn't vapor. Even if it is vapor, I won't complain too much as long as their 1,500 employees aren't vapor as well.

I was referring to the public K-12 schools here in the area - we have no quality higher education in Shreveport and that is a bit disappointing. I moved here about ten years ago from a smaller city in Missouri that had a major university and (other than the casinos) there were a lot more entertainment options back

I live in Shreveport and we have more casinos here than anywhere else in the state and they are building a new one scheduled to open next year (Margaritaville... I'm not sure what in Shreveport inspired that choice - we're not exactly a Jimmy Buffet type of town). I couldn't tell you where the money goes - some of it

Hey now.. I live in Louisiana and... well.. I'd have to agree. We have too many miles of interstate to maintain in places that don't matter (Shreveport - which will have three interstates running through it within the next 20 or so years) and the maintenance costs keep us from building highways in the places that do

I'm going to vote for New Orleans. Not much in the way of elevation changes, but there's plenty of history and some beautiful urban scenery. Watching an Indy-style rolling start down Canal Street would just be fantastic.

Louisiana checking in... I filled up today for $40.89 (~12.5 gallons @ 3.249). I'm a big fan of Murphy's Wal-Mart card discounts. I'm not sure how it works elsewhere, but $0.15 off per gallon is going to add up for the next few months. Prices have been fairly steady for the past few weeks although some stations are

Last one I promise... There's something just a little eerie about the way a B2 just floats through the air - it is almost alien in its appearance and the way it moves.

The RedBull demonstration team wasn't half bad either.

Another good one - inspired by Top Gun

Having been a member of the USAF for four years, I've witnessed many a flyby, but the air shows are always the best. The top tier demonstration groups like the USAF Thunderbirds and the Navy Blue Angels can pull of some ridiculous maneuvers.

Ummm...

This is probably an answer to a different question (perhaps "Which discontinued model could be made new again?"), but I am going to stretch the rules here and assume that the "parts bin" includes an archive going back a few years (or decades - my sense of history is getting distorted as I get older)...

I've had those days before... Well an afternoon anyway

People who cut through parking lots/businesses to avoid traffic signals...

Driving without a license or driving under suspension (DUS) is still a traffic violation or low lever misdemeanor in most jurisdictions. In fact, here in Louisiana, it is up to the officer whether or not they even have to take you in for those offenses. If the officer deems arrest unnecessary and you have somebody who

There's no cheating in baseball! Oh wait...

I hope there's a RWD conversion available for the ForTwo. If my RWD Abarth is any indication, a RWD Smart would be full of awesome.

Regarding 3rd gear...

I didn't have a whole lot of time with it when I test drove one so maybe I just didn't get the mirrors and seating position right. I just had a hard time seeing all four corners of the car and for something as big as the Challenger that is extremely important.
