Why? There is nothing WRONG with the food I guess, but it is soulless and you should be spending your money at a locally-owned and -operated place anyway.

I am thinking of my large chef knives (or other knives I have that are large and for specific purposes) and try to think how I would effectively and more easily cut on a plate compared to a ‘real’ cutting board and I’m just not seeing it.  Cutting a loaf of bread, trimming the fat off a large piece of meat, rough

AI and automation promises things that just never get delivered - freedom for more people to live better lives. Companies jumped REALLY FAST on the low unemployment rate to eliminate jobs (that they admittedly are having a hard time filling). Once unemployment inevitably rises, these companies will not undo the

Yeah...chances are you are just lazy if you go to a Wingstop or BWW.  Wings are EASY (though they have a long cook time) so it is not hard to find good wings from a local place.  STOP GOING TO CHAIN RESTAURANTS.

Aside from 1st apartment people, who cooks anything more than at a survival level and does not have a handful of different cutting boards? Running out of ideas for articles? I’ve never been in a home of adults who actually cook that does not have a wide variety of them.

Cheesecake Factory...when you are stuck in an office park/mall complex in the depths of suburbia for some reason, yeah, sure. I guess. But as a destination restaurant, one you make intentional plans to go to? Hell naw bro. But really, if there is a Cheesecake Factory as an option there has to be something local, and a

This has “Old man yells at cloud” vibes. I did not expect to enjoy the movie at all, but my step-daughter wanted to watch it and brownie points should be gathered whenever possible so I sat down, phone in hand as a distraction, and was drawn in to a hilariously timely and poignant comedy that punched waaaaaaay above

So many have closed...there used to be one near my lake house in the Poconos just outside Scranton. The Fishamajig is another sandwich that is just unique to them. I worked in the kitchen for a couple years and still can tell you how to assemble all their products hahah moved to server and made surprisingly good

Cold Stone is fine - good even - but wow it is like Five Guys...you can get equally good for much less.  (Haven’t been to a Five Guys in like 15 years but I hear how expensive it is and it sounds like nothing has changed product-wise).

Ever have the Wattamelon Roll?  Refreshing as hell on a hot day.

And the fast foot / gas station / convenience stores are not great...and diners just don’t do to-go quick very well.

And I bet they have a fine collection of tinfoil and red hats.

The decline in quality of Dunkin’ Donuts has to open the door for somebody.  Or maybe it’s the improvement in people’s taste and expectation, but DD has sucked for a while now.  Starbucks...I like their Blonde if I cannot find a local shop.  Otherwise meh.

So many chocolate chip ice creams are made with really, really bad chocolate.

Personal Top-5 (because you care)

Bottled I might agree. That is just thicker ranch.

And that is TOTALLY fair.  They had the balance pretty well figured out.

Regional food pride is a thing...it’s silly but it’s one of those things that exist simply to exist. Like deep dish pizza vs. NYC pizza, where did the hamburger start, what is the best BBQ, does real chili have beans, is a hotdog a sandwich...life is hard.  Having something so inane to argue over, to have regional

I’ve heard about the chicken there...just never needed to stop when I saw one, and didn’t see one when I needed to stop.
