Just as an FYI, it is absolutely pissing rain in SoCal. When it rains here, it’s like the world’s about to end, which is why we have all these giant concrete channels to carry the rain into the ocean: there’s not enough room to store it in the places near where people actually live.

Someone asked me what book I’m reading at the moment and I had to stop myself when I got to the fifth one... partially cause I’d lost track of which book is in which purse/on which table/on which e-reading device. You are my people.

An advertisement suggests I was given the book and paid by its publisher to review it. I bought the book myself and reviewed it out of sheer glee over its content.
