Enlightened was only on for 2 seasons. I personally found that the second season was really, really good, but the first season was relatively uneven. There was definitely potential to be among the best, but I just don't think there was enough there overall.

I don't necessarily agree fully with Michael Thompson about her, but Sansa didn't necessarily have to do all that much to avoid being beheaded considering she was a very valuable asset to a lot of people being the only known surviving Stark and thus "key to the North".

Well she gets a short lived happy moment on the show right after Littlefinger explains to Sansa why he killed Joffrey. She had a big ole smile on her face right before LF disowned her as a hypothetical daughter only to adopt her as his Cat.

HBO has been fairly good at keeping all of their materials like commentaries, show information on their site, etc fairly insulated from the books.
