I’d be surprised to see these wrapped around trees with how intrusive the ESC will be and the AWD setup.

this mistake will way on my mind for weigh longer than you can imagine
So what I’m reading is that this car is the best choice for 99% of Corvette owners. And probably a solid 90% of Z06 owners?*
GTFO out with that take. This is half the price of NSX when it launched. Sure NSX launched with 156k price, but they didn’t actually sell any of those since that price was with steel brake rotors, which wasn’t available at launch. +10k for brembos + a couple grand extra for michelin tires (the contis on it was so trash…
I’m ok with this direction. Very few people go to the track and very few people have the skills to drive a track focused car on the street. A softer more forgiving street car that can still thump others in a stop light drag when called out is a better match for most drivers.
I thought 80-90% of Vette usage was sitting in a parking lot while the owner explains that this particular Vette is 1 of 25 Vettes that were green with black interiors that were made on a Tuesday during a rain storm, but the only one with the optional heads up display.
Sounds like how 80-90% of vettes are used. and I sense those who want to track one can swap in some stiffer springs, and sway bars, and have a lot more performance.
Not to mention that any Toyota AWD-i vehicle is NA engine with electric AWD. My ‘07 Highlander Hybrid is set up as such.
So the ERay “ways” 300lbs more than the Z06. This is pretty amazing considering you also get AWD. I cannot “weight” for the ERay. Hopefully there is a “weigh” GM will stop the price gouging by dealers. That ”weigh” I will actually be interested in buying one. Sure will be a heavy “wait” off my shoulders to finally be…

This. Had to re-read that line a few times but still scratching my head on this one lol.
I need to make sure. Why isn’t the 918 the first car to pair a naturally aspirated engine with electric AWD?
Actually it’s a lot cooler because you can get one in a manual
“It’s the first production vehicle to pair a naturally aspirated engine with electric all-wheel drive.”
By the sheer number of decked out lifted bro-dozers running around, apparently $100K is for the masses. 🤷♂️
“The masses” have $100k to buy a car?
So what you’re saying is that my Gen1 Insight is essentially a Corvette now.
I find the name “E-Ray” a bit funny, but its not my job to name cars.
Finally, a hybrid supercar for the ‘masses’. At least in theory, anyway. I think it’s fucking badass. But the E-Ray name sounds lame and is way too try hard. I think it should have been called ZE6 or EO6.
