Damn, remember when Gawker BROKE stories?

“They’re living paycheck-to-paycheck and are already in debt? Well, why don’t they just take on MORE debt to see them through this little rough patch?”

Then, a few sentences later: “I shouldn’t have said tapes... No tapes. Well, I have listened to tapes, but none of them concern this.”

no need to worry about curves or how real bodies move, only how the garment moves.

Remember how the last two years felt like an eternity?

Every single one of those women has talked at length about how impossible it is to find a dress for award shows, or at least was until they reached a certain level of fame:

Yeah, I once vowed to myself that I would never again cast a vote for anyone who voted to authorize force against Iraq. Yet, 2016 rolls around and I go back on that vow and vote for Clinton. Why? Because I’m not a fucking idiot.

I really feel bad for the undergrad research assistant that in five years or so from now has to comb through social media and blogs for some professor that is writing a book about this era of politics.

Well, that’s Republicans in a nutshell, isn’t it? I’ll never forget, because it’s burned into my memory, the day I read the quote in The New Yorker from the Republican operative back in the two-thousand-teens (2013?) about the reason they would ultimately prevail over Democrats:

I’m excited to evaluate all of the candidates, pick my favorite and work to get them nominated. And if my candidate fails I look forward to FALLING THE FUCK IN LINE.

Note to phone: it’s officially time for spell check to stop suggesting “Kampala” every time, because Kamala’s going to be the top contender and I don’t have time for this.

That’s the only ethical thing to do.

I’d vote for her.

How is “cult of personality” your take on a politician taking time to support fundraising for a charity that benefits trans children? How is this possibly your response to that.

Listen. I’m in love with AOC just like everyone else (seriously... SWOON), but she is dead fucking wrong about something.

Seems to me that Ann Coulter’s tweet proves she doesn’t understand the difference between a citizen and someone who happens to be in the area the time.

This is a bad take. Government functions tend to exist because the private sector will not pick them up. Sometimes the government will jumpstart an industry to make it profitable enough for private industry to get involved, but other things—like experimental science, for example—do not exist to make money. And others,

You private sector people confuse me.

If you have 15 minutes to shake your head at the terrible decision-making process that keeps Louisiana so poor, this video is definitely worth your time.

It’s ridiculous that this is even an issue when the district is already running a $30M deficit.
