I literally just watched Jessica Jones this week, so I love your mention of "1000 cuts" (even if it's not a direct reference to JJ).

Really disappointed—nay, pissed—at what they've done to Bellamy's character. So much of all of this rings false because of it. And I didn't buy the Lexa/Indra/Clarke conversation at the end, either.
^ This. Thank you.
"and Echo gets to repay Bellamy for saving her life in the first place"
Just now getting caught up, but did anyone else make a noise of recognition at the last bit there? I mean, the CGI was clunky, but I was like, "THAT TOWER'S FROM THE OPENING CREDITS!!!"
*insert requisite "SO GLAD THIS SHOW IS BACK" post here*
Yep, completely what it reminded me of, too
Damn. Good on them for firing his ass, then.
Don't forget Murphy! Man, he was despicable in the first season, and now he's one of my favorite characters.
As a bisexual woman, I can confirm this.
Literally one of the funniest episodes of this show, nay, of television in general. C- is way too low a grade for how much it made me laugh.
Not…really?… It's an actual AV Club article, they always link to other pages on their site in their articles/reviews, they just fudged up the link this time around by leaving a number off at the end of it. They'll fix it as soon as they catch it, I'm sure.
Just found the correct link—this article's link is missing the 3 at the end, FYI!
Leo DiCaprio link isn't working for me? I get a "dead air" page
Just to focus on the first Gina/Boyle scene, I loved how Gina jumped in to save Boyle from offending the Captain. It was just such a great, quiet example of her character development, because not only would season 1 Gina not have tried to warn Boyle (let alone interrupted the conversation to save him), but she…
I really need to check Tumblr to see if anyone else ships those two as much as I do. If they were different genders, people would be all over that shit, and it makes me sad that I know the show won't go there.
I never did anything with my hair for most of my life (curled, straightened, used spray, wore it in different hairstyles, anything), but then I got it professionally dyed to symbolize a huge life change when I was 25. So, yeah, I get this.
I despised him at first, but he's growing on me, just a little.
I missed Danny so much when he was off the show, so I was really excited for him to return, and then this episode happened. I honestly wouldn't mind too much if he left. But then he'd have left his family just like his dad did, how in the world would he be okay doing that?
Also, at the end of season 2, Danny seemed set on one, just one kid, "a boy," and he got exactly what he wanted! I'm kind of surprised that he's throwing out this, "Obviously we're having more children, duh" bit now. Since when has he wanted that?!
