That is a good way to scratch the itch. I also just don’t have time for giant games anymore, so might be a good option for MGS4+5

I really enjoyed it back in the day, so the rose colored glassed may have a powerful effect on me.

I’m not really into classic/retro games anymore. But it’s hard for me to ignore this one for one last go-round.

I’m most excited for the pre-HD metal gears in the collection anyway. MGS1 had a big impact on me. :-)

Dang, time to dig out a physical copy, then? If it’s BC, that is. Loved them, especially the second one. Just great shooters and unbelievable love for transformers.

And I thought killing HBO Max for just “Max” was a bad branding idea. Even my techno-challenged parents know what it means to “tweet.” That kind of brand recognition in pop-culture is almost unheard of.

oh noooo, that sounds like a 24/7 headache

HOLY CRAP. That is insane!

All I can think of for any room facing that thing:

Waiting to see if it will work with my dang glasses.

The only time I gasped at a font was papyrus in the Avatar logo. These are fine.

I had hoped to see something different. like Rey turn to the dark side and Finn fight to bring her back (Rey had a LOT to be angry about), or both of them teaming up to take down Kylo Renn in the finale. Either way Finn and Rose got screwed plot wise.

John Boyega deserved better. I wonder if he would even return if offered a role in this.

They were really hammering that show everywhere. It looked pretty bland from what I saw.

I’ve been on the other side of these type of events - prepping for trade shows like this are an ENORMOUS amount of work and stress for the people doing the actual work, and (probably the deciding factor) corporate cost. If I was someone who had to prepare for E3, I would be glad it is done. No more building demos for

Waiting on a patch for the large dead zone on the right stick on Xbox before buying. Supposedly one can fix with a pro controller, but nah.

Love GB1, GB2 had its parts, afterlife was fun. Gil Kenan directed Monster House which I love, and I enjoyed GB: Afterlife, which Kenan wrote. Patton has surprised me in the past, too. I guess I’m intrigued enough to see it.

I don’t really eat red meat anymore. But I’d give lab grown beef a try. They need that one sooner! I bet McDonald’s would be all in.

Now playing

Obligatory “this business will get out of control.”

I like “Return of the King” but no way should it have beaten “Master and Commander” for best picture. They should have given Peter Jackson a special achievement award for the trilogy, because M&C was the better movie vs RotK.

If it was awful in the past, Elon can make worse. I’m sure of it.
