What actor wants to sign on for another clusterfuck of a trilogy written and re-written by a constantly changing set of creators? What director wants that burden now? Even visual effects artists are bracing for the unpaid overtime.

Worked at a place 20+ years. Company was aquired by a big corporation.
Started working from home as the pandemic shut everything down.

April 1 zoom call with the company CEO: “If you’re on this call, you no longer have a job. Bye!”

My Pixel 7 and the GF’s Pixel 6a have been pretty darn buggy. Was hoping for better experience than this. My Pixel 5 was rock solid.

Game pass to the rescue again. Played it on xbox, where dual stick controls make it a enjoyable dose of Nostalgia. Do I see seams in geometry in expansive outdoor sections? yeah. Does it bother me? Nope! Fun enough. It works. I just want a break from AC: Odyssey here and there. The music still kicks ass, the gameplay

Another great way for Cruz to launder money.

I definitely would not have known about this without Kotaku coverage. At that price point, hardly anyone would. Don’t give them any ammo for the alt-right twitter crowd.

I want to kill all the cultists in Odyssey, but IMO, Valhalla sounds like too much time for me. I want to try other games. I usually find I need a Ubisoft break after beating one of their games, anyway. I can come back to the formula once in a while and really enjoy it.

Sometimes/barely, lol. It’s more Mercenary Creed” than “Assassins Creed. I’ve stealth killed a lot of NPCs and targets, but feels like it doesn’t count.

They could make smaller games to cut down on dev time and costs. I’m enjoying AC: Odyssey on Game Pass, but holy hell is this game overwhelmingly large. People have told me AC: Valhalla is “too much game.” I’m worried that completing this game might mean other games I want to play on game pass will leave by the time

Word from an 2d animator/artist I know in LA: this has been known for a couple of years.

Don’t give Fox News and the NRA ideas. They already try to shift blame onto video games each time a (high profile) mass shooting happens. We should avoid thinking like them.

The triggers are what keeps me from trying a PS5. Well, that and that it’s not easy to find one.

Would be nice to have some heavy hitters, but I will echo the throughts of a few others. Gamepass has gotten me playing offbeat titles I wouldn’t have noticed otherwise. Played Halo Infinite, liked the single player, then deleted. Been on indies since!

I hope it works out for him. He loves WH.

Hoping to win a steamdeck as I am not a PC gamer, only to find out that it requires entrants to have made steam purchases in the past year or so. Dang! I would so be a PC gamer with a free steam deck! oh well.

Destiny is a graphically impressive, well made hamster wheel to me. Loved D1 and D2. Seasonal model ended up killing it for me. All of my console buddies switched to other games or migrated to PC for platform exclusives/steam.

I keep getting lost in the early game of Warframe - I struggle to understand all of the complexities as a casual player with limited time. Before long I’m removing it to free up space on my hard drive. Started and stopped a few times - especially worried I won’t like a class I picked.

This feels like a mean way to make the point at the end.

Well, a couple of things:
1) Does it take long enough that I don’t have much time to do anything else more exciting in my limited game time?
2) And the bigger one: Do I find that process fun? Not really. But supposedly the new casual mode is aimed at people like me, so I’ll give it another try this week! :-)
3) It could

Will take a look since I think it is still on gamepass
