What a corny sum’btch. No wonder KG and them don’t want any parts of him.

To be fair, Wiggins is “supposed” at best

If you look around the league, lots of starters were late round picks. I think they wanted to see what they had in Peterman to know if they should really start aggressively scouting QBs for this draft. They got their answer!

Kaep is maaaaybe as good as Tyrod. Ain’t worth the distraction here. In a team like Denver who’s just a QB away, I’m dealing with the questions without a doubt

To be fair, you also know that Tyrod ain’t winning you a Super Bowl so at some point you want to see what else you have and if you need to draft someone else again. The one thing this did was get them those answers. The other thing it did was ensure that this is yet another great star that will end in heartbreak in

Noah is a dinosaur in today’s NBA but he is a PRO. That locker room presence around a kid who is your future is hard to put a price tag on.

This probably won’t be the most popular but it’s LeBron and Korver. Korver ensures they absolutely can’t double team LeBron without giving up 3s and LeBron vs. anyone else one on one means you’re eating a W

Let’s pump the brakes on “elite perimeter defender” but he’s a damn fine player anyone would be happy to have and definitely not butt

Ya, Horford has been AWESOME this year, but he’s awesome as a perfect team guy, not a 1 on 1 player. That’s literally the opposite of his strengths of which there are quite a few.

Ya, he and RG3 (and probably Embiid eventually) are this decade’s what if guys. So sad.

I think they were hoping to get Melo before remember that both teams need to want to make a trade and they had nothing of value to give away at that point.

They should just put “Billy King” in the rafters in the retired numbers.

And Ainge coulda gotten Boogie and Butler for much less.

I would have gladly taken #3 over the others, even moreso if you removed Marcus Smart. No one here thinks IT was going to be on the next title team even if he was AWESOME to root for and will be forever loved here.

lol you put a lot of faith in the health of guys who have yet to give you any reason to.

The “for whatever reason” was that they had to sign Hayward first in order to get 2 guys, otherwise the only move was a trade which takes up all the remaining cap space and you add 1 star, not 2. The rumor was that they were going to sign Hayward then push hard to get PG after, but the Pacers and Bulls both moved

Everyone misses the timeline here. They clearly knew or had a damn good idea they were getting Hayward without having to give up any picks. In order to keep the space to sign him, he had to be the first move and then you trade guys for Butler/PG/whoever else shook loose, but if you made the trade first, there was no

Everyone here continually misses the point on PG/Butler. If they’d traded for those guys, they were out of cap space and couldn’t have gotten Hayward who they got for nothing (besides some rich guy’s $$$.) It was a timing thing. They had to get through the draft, sign GH, then make the trade but the Bulls and Pacers

Not unprotected - can’t be #1 overall. That is the only protection though so fingers crossed!

The joke’s on them; he’ll be a Cowboy by Thursday.
