No. It’s always the parent’s fault for letting their child be in an area where they could be hit by a car, particularly when they aren’t mature enough to understand the danger and pay attention.
No. It’s always the parent’s fault for letting their child be in an area where they could be hit by a car, particularly when they aren’t mature enough to understand the danger and pay attention.
This is because:
It’s the parents fault if their kid gets hit by a car. Full stop. Teach them to pay attention like their lives depend on it (because it does) or don’t let them be in situations to get hit by cars.
MORE accidents happen to those who think they’re somehow immune.
What? did you get hit by a car or something? You shouldn’t do that it hurts and its a really dumb choice.
or hear me out, its literally impossible for them to maintain their earning potential if they leave the city and have any balance in their lives due to a long commute. 27% of Americans would describe their living arrangement as urban, 21% rural and 52% describe where they live as suburban. Clearly cities are only…
Too much empathy enables poor decisions. I’m plenty empathetic. Just not for folks who are too dumbs to not pay attention and end up getting hit by cars.
“Honest Trav” just doesn’t have the same ring to it.
Because there are so many job opportunities and wealth in the middle of bumble fuck no where.
I live in a state with No-fault insurance. You make claims against you own insurance if you are involved in an accident. The condition of the offending vehicle is irrelevant, even if the driver of the vehicle is drunk, you still process your insurance claim against your own vehicle’s insurance.
The truth is that people who move to the city eventually end up hating it, virtually every. single. one. Find me one person that doesn’t complain about at least one aspect of living in a major city, and you’ll have found someone with enough money to never worry about anything.
I flat out refuse to buy a vehicle with this tech. When it becomes mandatory, I will remove it.
Yeah, I don’t want people walking around in my neighborhood. Shit is loud. I live in one of those walkable areas and it sucks. You can tune out the drone of a highway, you cant tune out the drunken idiots yelling at each other at 2AM when the bars close.
Nah If you’re dumb enough to get hit by a car, you earned your death.
PedPro should be missing. Don’t get hit by a car, I’ve managed to go 34 years with out getting hit by one, not particularly hard. And if you do get hit by a car do you really want to be in crippling agony the rest of your life?
Well aware. The physics are pretty well known that Radar, Sonar, Lidar, Visual Systems and ultra-accurate GPS are still baffled by frozen water droplets in the air. This stuff called snow affects most of the country causes all kinds of issues for the autonomous tech that we have, and the fundamentals behind the tech…
Level 5 is an unobtainable pipe dream.
Conversely, wouldn’t increased passive safety systems and connected car safety systems help prevent drunk driving fatalities without encroaching on our right to privacy. I don’t know about you but a camera pointed on me while I drive skeeves me the fuck out.
Do you honestly believe the Democrats can win the next presidency? Biden is a failure as a president. Only slightly more successful than our worst president ever, Trump. The campaign slogan of “at least we aren’t Trump” and “Nothing will fundamentally change” might have worked in 2020, but it won’t work in 2024.
I’m always full of hot-takes, but so rarely am I this right.
