There is no such thing as a billionaire non-villian, or even a billionaire-loving non-villian. Uh oh!

Scorpio cared about his employees more that Musk ever did.

Has Musk ever bought his employees hammocks? Added another story to a house of a worker for a job well done? Bombed Paris? Nope.

Hey, other people have told you but: you’re a raging idiot.

man who busts unions and gets rich off of daddy’s allowance to pay people to build dick rockets is better than a person who dedicates their life to holding corporations choking humanity to death to account. i am very intellignet

I am not sure you understand how herd immunity works.

Well your misinformed opinions certainly imply that you are smarter than neither of them.

Fuck that’s depressing.

Just to be pedantic: Intel has released several microarchitectures on the 14nm process.
Furthermore, intel IS shipping 10nm processors, they just happen to be mobile processors.
If you’re not happy with Intel processors, then certainly buy AMD processors instead- they’re mighty fine.
Getting offended because Intel cannot

Someone said Musk is not Stark, but Justin Hammer: a rich douchebag who pays actual scientists to come up with revolutionary breakthroughs, then takes all the credit for the breakthroughs.

the only part I disagree with is "smart, well-meaning"

The idea that Musk genuinely cares about the planet, and didn’t just find a market set-dressing he could exploit, gets more remote by the day.

Now playing

Maybe Elon Musk has only played the game with the Malkavian mod:

I can’t help but think he’s closer to Tracer Tong: a smart, well meaning guy who still does terrible things to make money, and would end up screwing up the world while trying to make it a better place.

I just want the cult around this guy to be over, and for him to be revealed for what he really is, which is just your average run of the mill oligarch.

Optane value add goes way beyond high performance on a given artificial benchmark. They have more consistent high performance across a wider range of I/O transaction types and sizes then almost any other product, and, more importantly, the longevity of an Optane drive is on a whole nother level.

I’m a grown man that plays as a female character in just about any game in which I have the option (save for a few games where romancing characters is a key feature of the game and where that choice would force me into romancing male characters). I personally don’t think people should find that disturbing.

The “historical accuracy” argument only seems to pop up when there are women or minority characters in game, or there is a lack of NAzi symbols in a game. Weird how that works.

The Optane 905P may not beat a PCIe 4.0 SSD in bulk data transfers, but thanks to the 3d xpoint phase change memory it uses it achieves very low latencies and very high performance for random/small transfer size I/O operations, especially in low queue depth situations where flash memory doesn’t perform very well.

I honestly value PCIE Lanes over raw core count, and Intel kicks AMD’s butt in this department. Intel offers over double the amount of lanes AMD does. That means two GPUs running at 16x (yes 16x > 8x despite what AMD fanboys try to push) with room for more.

Honestly though, while AMD’s new line is fantastic (and cost efficient), I still can’t see this battle ending with AMD being close to top dog (for long if at all). There is no way that Intel isn’t frantically RnDing 7nm tech, and once they do, it seems likely that much of AMD’s edge will be gone. This is especially
