I believe so, yes.  Agents of SHIELD for sure is outside of the MCU at the very least.  The Netflix shows are gonna be touch to incorporate, and probably not worth it.

I’m really not trying to be pedantic here, but sometimes they change things quite a bit from the source material in the MCU, y’know. Maybe here S.W.O.R.D. is just a replacement for S.H.I.E.L.D. because in the MCU (and not the now non-canonical TV shows that have come previously) that name has been tarnished since

Oh boy.

I think both guys actually have the same amazing range—the ability to do incredibly silly/funny, or heart-breaking and subtle drama.

I have a buddy working on a show here in New Orleans. They’ve been back at work for a month now.

I saw someone said elsewhere here that it makes sense that Daniel and Julie already know each other, which is a good point.  Miyagi stayed apart of Daniel’s life right up until he died, so surely he introduced Daniel to his only other student at some time.

Wasn’t there also a Red Superman at the same time?  Not to be confused with Red Son Superman, just that same design, but red.

Yeah, if you’ve consumed it primarily as a movie franchise, that probably impacts your perception of it overall.

Oh for sure.  It’s a really fun movie, but it’s still not quite Star Trek.  But to be fair, I have never thought that Star Trek worked as a movie series with any cast.  It’s much better suited to television where it can have a little more room to breath.

It’s not really Star Trek because none of the Kelvin timeline movies seem to fundamentally understand Star Trek, but this one gets the closest, and it’s a really fun action movie in its own right. Justin Lin is an awesome director who obviously at least has some reverence for the source material with his entry in Beyon

Came here to say exactly this. “They’re not the two best best, but they’re definitely in the top three, right?”

Mr. Miyagi’s home country of Okinawa

It’s Momoa by a country mile.  Dude is so chill he married Lisa Bonet and is like best buds her ex-husband, Lenny Kravitz.

Lawyer here. That’s definitely possible, but it may also just come down to professional courtesy to Warner Bros., which whom she has an ongoing and seemingly productive relationship, and probably a decent amount of clout as a producer at this point is well. If they’re trying to downplay all of this, she may just be

The very widely shared rumor is that she didn’t want to film the scene where Flash/Ezra Miller landed face down in her cleavage, which is a fair point because that’s a bad and dated a joke, AND one Whedon already did with Ruffalo and ScarJo is Age of Ultron.  She refused on set, he yelled at her like an asshole, and

Yeah, Metal was pretty bad, but knowing it was leading this makes it seem better. And Williamson took it a step further and basically said that the Batman Who Laughs is Dan Didio. The whole point of this event is to undo his bullshit over the last twenty years.

You can just use an empty soup can, or if you’re really classy, take the top off an empty beer can with a can opener.

He’s also a Community fan and filled in for Walton Goggins as a guest on a live-read of an episode earlier this year:

I’ve enjoyed the DCeased books, and especially “Hope at World’s End” and the Wally West/Impulse/Jay Garrick issue.
