Yeah, lawyer here. I get that people don’t like lawyers (I fucking hate lawyers), but I assure you, you are better off with them than without them. Too many real world examples I could cite here for it to be pithy or funny.

Haha. Got it. I was actually just trying to confirm you were an attorney... aren’t we all pedantic?
Professional curiosity here, but are you a pedantic lawyer?
Totally agree. Although I see this lack strict continuity for them at this point as a feature, not a bug. You may not agree there.
I wondered if that might be what’s going on here. This whole idea seemed fairly ill-advised, but if it’s what it took to finally get DiDio fired, so much the better.
I have no doubt that they did. I’m sorry that happened to you though.
I’m not in Cook County, but it sounds like vote AGAINST Judge Gallagher, people.
Lawyer here. I’ve sued people for copyright violations on several occasions. I don’t know what the fuck any of these people think they’re doing, but yes, this is a slam-dunk copyright lawsuit.
There was a line in Endgame to explain this... they didn’t cease to exists, rather Thanos broke them down to the atomic level and scattered their remnants across the galaxy (if they’d been completely destroyed, our reality would have ceased to exist or something).
Agreed.
Counterpoint: I’ve actually seen, and it’s great. You might give it a chance before you decide you hate it.
I know a ponzi scheme when I see one, and Facebook’s stock is a ponzi scheme. So is Amazon’s. Neither company will ever be profitable.
That second “such” is supposed to be “sweet.” The movie has a lot of heart right on its sleeve. Fucking timed out edit function. Goddammit.
I loved it.
I saw it yesterday. I posted this elsewhere, but here’s my thoughts:
I went and saw the New Mutants yesterday (I was one of four people in the theatre, so I felt pretty safe).
John Carpenter explained awhile ago that you can always tell who the Thing is because he shoots that actor so that the light doesn’t glint/reflect off of their eyes, and makes sure that it always does for everyone else in the scene. He then encouraged people to watch the last scene again with that in mind. I would…
Oh no, that’s all good. I was looking for the speculation, and that makes sense. I hadn’t caught that they had only announced Steve Agee was on-set King Shark, and not just King Shark.
It’s weird that no one thought to adapt the material before.
I need to know who Taika Watiti is playing.
