Everytime someone starts whining about this, they never explain what those things that NFTs can actually be used for are, and how they’re better than existing methods.

That’s not really “shit”. It’s not as high as their other studios, but calling it “shit” is missing the point. They’re selling because it wasn’t enough, not because it was 3-4%. Microsoft themselves have had similar profit margins for like two decades, and they’re doing pretty good.

The fact it’s another Embracer Group purchase is why I’m not holding my breath as outside Metro they’ve mostly done sweet FA. A lot of stuff gets re-released, the odd remaster here, the even rarer remake there, but overall in terms of new games they’ve been buying up stuff since THQ went bust a decade ago and still…

I wondered in recent years if SE was doing a kind of “Hollywood math” with these game releases that apparently underperformed. Were they counting them as losses because of insurance, taxes, and other sleights of hand that would in fact enrich them even more when they claim that the game undersold, like Hollywood does…

Wait, what about the Legacy of Kain series? Was that owned by Square Enix when they originally purchased Crystal Dynamics? If so, I hope the LoK franchise stays with Crystal Dynamics. 

This is probably for the best considering SE always seemed to treat their western studios like the redheaded stepchild.
