The street has plenty of room to allow a fire truck or ambulance through. Like I said, our actions turn it into a single lane. Call the police all you want. There’s nothing illegal about street parking where I live, even if two vehicles are parked across the street from each other.

When my kids were younger, my neighbor and I would park our cars in the same manner any time the kids were playing outside. With both cars parked there, the street was effectively narrowed to a single lane.

I’ve had similar issues over the years, but with our narrow street and mountable curbs, people often park with their right wheels on the grass. I’ve left notes, knocked on neighbors’ doors, and even directly confronted drivers who parked on my lawn.
