Between that tug and their fleet of nuclear ice breakers the lesson is clear. If you need an industrial strength work ship, call Russia. If you need an aircraft carrier, call literally anybody else.
So Bernie books a Mexico race right next to the COTA event, cutting the potential draw significantly, then bitches that they’re screwing him over? What a wooly headed asshole.
Winning teams don't go on strike.
Agreed that all teams have their strengths. The Blue Angels’ ‘surprise pass’ has got to be one of the showiest (and best) elements of any routine, though.
Lol. I try not to think of Assault Horizon. I suspect that Strangereal has gone to shit in my absence.
Not to be pedantic, but aren’t they the Paracel Islands?
One could almost make the argument that it inverts their work with Bond. Casino Royale was a grittier reboot of the traditionally glossy world of James Bond. Conversely, super classy poker on the French Riviera is a glossy reboot of the gritty world of the Wild West Saloon... (I’m more inclined to think they were…
They did a good job of stretching out the battle of wits angle of the game between Bond and LeChiffre. Cutting out from the table for occassional, climactic action sequences and poisonings also kept it from dragging.
Nice write up and great analysis! Casino Royale is definitely one of the best. The only bit that I’m not sure about is the timelessness argument. Apparently, Russian Mythbusters is way better...
Just when you thought it was safe to go back into orbit...
Maybe...
I’m pretty sure that was ‘Inca Gold Metallic,’ and yeah. It was like getting punched in the eyeballs. (It was worse in person.)
Now you’ve got me wondering just how sarcastically and cheaply Red Bull could ‘participate.’
Lol. What’s the point of a 2 month no compete in the game industry?
Syria, apparently. Iraq as well in the 80s.
I’m actually inclined to agree with him on this one. The Space Shuttle program was an amazing boon to science, but it also enabled lawmakers to convince the public that we were still engaged with space exploration in the spirit of the mid-20th Century while annual budgets clearly illustrate otherwise. The optics…
Maybe someone had just discovered the mind-bending ecstasy of Target’s low low prices!
